Just wanted to start a topic for known 1803 issues so everyone has one place to go if they find something weird happening on their network.

I'll start. Immediately after the 1803 update on a few Dell optiplex 5050's the Dell printers (b3460 I believe) were just removed. It took a complete reinstall of printers to get us printing transcripts and such things again.

My main machine keeps trying to install 1803 but then rolls back and unable to install, hate the way windows does these feature updates now, had same issue when 1709 was pushed out.

They should go back to the old way....If I didn't need my music apps, I would be on Linux in a heart beat.

Seriously boned me for RDP compatibility until I researched it and realized that one VM wasn't getting updates since January. So at least I got that fixed?

We found that SAP does not work, even when run over RDP. Something about 1803 alters the behaviour of the app over the RDP connection!

Updated my management PC to 1803. Now I can't connect properly with Hyper-V Manager.

Do you need to update your RSATools?

@black3dynamite I have not done a clean install yet. My vm for images is on 1803 but i have not imaged anything yet. Will report back if I encounter any issues. This update is really annoying.

@stuartjordan i had that happen with 1709 also. For me I believe it was a few unresolved updates that was causing it. I have not had that issue yet with 1803 but i have been on top of patching since then.

I did have to remove the old version and then install the newer one. I believe I used 2016 version.

RSAT is not needed to use Hyper-V Manager.

This is what screwed me up, not sure if relevant

No, completely different. I had some threads on that, too. That's not able to connect. This is that the SAP application stops working after connected.

Yeah, that is standard for RSAT, every time. It needs reinstalled after every Windows 10 upgrade so far.

RSAT is not needed to use Hyper-V Manager.

                              Correct.

I wonder if these issues happening after an upgrade compare to a clean install?

Just a bit! Apparently even MS' own Surfaces don't work (not that anyone can tell the difference.)

Is anyone having the issue where RDP connection drops and picks up about every minute and a half or so?

Well our database admin thinks the 1803 update wiped out a license. I'm not sure if that happened but it is weird. He used Navicat premium which lets him connect to databases this morning. Then he had to go across campus for a bit and let Windows do this big update. When he comes back and wants to connect to a database his application tells him he needs to register for the premium version. He verified that the license is nowhere close to expiring. So weird.
