PINGing issue...please help!

Calling all IT brains! For the life of me I, for some reason, can't figure out why I can't ping between two computer. Computer A and B can ping all the NAS and other devices, but not each other. On both computers I disable the AV, firewall, checked the ICMP, File and Printer sharing are enabled, Netbios protocol enable and checked for blockage on the router. Although pinging is an issue, I can remote into each machine from one another. Arp and net view, on both computers, can see the other computer listed. Yet, inspite of all my efforts, no love.
The technical in environment...Computer A OS is a Windows 7 Ulti and Computer B OS is a Windows 10 pro. Am I missing something?
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance. -
This is claiming that the default firewall setup blocks ping and shows how to enable it. I've personally never seen this and have always been able to ping.
EDIT: With the firewall off, though, this doesn't seem to apply.

What are the IP addresses and subnets of each computer? Same subnet?

Try pinging both from a third party and see if either is pingable in general. My guess is that ICMP is blocked by something on those.

I previously used a PING app on my mobile and found that I couldn't ping either clients.

So pretty much you can assume that the issue is that some default setting is blocking ICMP on those devices.

This post got me to thinking. I dug a bit deeper into the firewall. I found something that did the trick. I was checking the Firewall of the Windows and not that of the AV. Once I did some testing and search further into the AV, I found a way to allow pinging to take place.
With that said, I would like to thank all of you for coming to my rescue. Thank so much for all of your insight. -

With that said, I would like to thank all of you for coming to my rescue. Thank so much for all of your insight.General rule of thumb... don't use AV firewall. The OS has an excellent, straightforward, easy to manage, well known, enterprise class firewall. Some random, unknown third party firewall is a bad idea.
Strong best practice: Never run two firewalls on your devices.
