Well, if you fixed a leaky valve for heart or in plumbing valve you gotta know how not the why though...

I know exactly how it was fixed. I reran the installer. Does not explain why it was broke or why it fixed it.

Best to never look at hardware, aesthetics risk being influential and they mean nothing.
