LibreOffice 5.4.5.1 (Writer, Calc, Impress and Draw) and Fedora 27 Workstation were used when creating the following instructions.

      VRT Network Equipment Icons

      https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/vrt-network-equipment

Step 1: Download VRT Network Equipment extension
      • https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/vrt-network-equipment/1.2.0/@@download/file/vrtnetworkequipment_1-2-0-lo.oxt
Step 2: Add extension to LibreOffice
      • Open LibreOffice and go to Tools and then Extension Manager.

      • Click Add and browse to the extension that you just downloaded and click Open.

      • After you have successfully added the extension, it should look this:

      • Close out of Extension Manager and then click on Restart Now button.

Step 3: Confirm that the VRT themes are available
      • Open LibreOffice and go to View and then Gallery. You should now see six VRT Themes.

      Cisco Network Topology Icons

      https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/about/brand-center/network-topology-icons.html

Step 1: Download 3015_jpeg.zip file and extract it
      • https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en_us/about/ac50/ac47/3015_jpeg.zip
Step 2: Add the 3015_jpeg files
      • Open LibreOffice and go to View and then Gallery.

      • Click on New Theme... and a new window called Properties of New Theme will appear.

      • On the General tab, change New Theme to Cisco Network Topology

      • On the Files tab, click on Find Files... and browse to the extracted folder named 3015_jpeg and click OK.

      • Click on Add All and all the files will disappear. Click OK.

      • A new theme called Cisco Network Topology is now added to the Gallery.

I hated that I had to install java on the lab computers back then, because of Elluminate Live.
