Just curious what everyone's favorite Wordpress plugins are. Some of mine:

Akismet - has saved me from TONS of spam comments
      upload-e7edc5d2-74f9-49ca-9cf2-1d12c6d17c37

Feedweb - most people don't want to take the time to write comments but this allows me to collect feedback because it's easy and instant for people, and it shows on the homepage and not just each post's individual page
      upload-90bf8fc3-f7fa-48ee-bc05-e844f6ebe2f0

Shareaholics - allows for custom sharing buttons to Facebook, Twitter, etc and shows number of shares on each source
      upload-183d03ec-d78f-4acf-81b6-ae0ea172f2b5

Those are my top 3. What are yours?

      Thanks,
      A.J.

I like Broken Link Checker. I use the Wordpress SEO too but that's about it. That's pretty cool.

Any reason you use GASP over Akismet?

              @thanksaj

I have read a lot about link spam, comment spam etc from WP sites as well as search engine sites and the complaint is that Akismet is preventing non spammy users from posting.

Here are a few posts about it.

And I know YMMV, but I either setup GASP or turn off comment for my clients (the lazy ones).

@thanksaj big difference in what you do for your own self versus paying clients. Their needs can be different and you are semi responsible for their SEO, UX when choosing themes and/or plugins.

                    Yeah, fair enough.

You can integrate WordPress and NodeBB so that NodeBB handles the comments for WP. It's a neat way to go.

                        That's pretty neat.
