        Unifi 5.6.30 has been released
        https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Updates-Blog/UniFi-5-6-30-Stable-has-been-released/ba-p/2220761

Been a week and it has not hit the repos yet. 😞

I thought it was supposed to be a week from blog post before the repos updated.

edit: Yes it is supposed ot be a week. https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Wireless/Notes-on-UniFi-releases-Stable-Candidate-Stable-repos-download/m-p/1800676#M203780

        I found this:
        https://help.ubnt.com/hc/en-us/articles/220066768-UniFi-How-to-Install-Update-via-APT-on-Debian-or-Ubuntu
        Reading the releases notes:
        0_1518067362460_DeepinScreenshot_select-area_20180208002222.png

        But still does not update...

@dbeato From their forums, it looks like 5.6.30 may not have been all that stable after all. Could be why they haven't pushed it to the repo yet is they don't find it stable enough after initial release. They've already got a Stable Candidate for 5.6.31 which seems to address some issues (I'm not signed up for beta so I can't see them myself). May be best just to not worry about this one and wait for the next stable.

I am not worried but it makes sense.

This says it now supports BluRay, is that right?
Access: Blu-Ray open ISO over network, support for BD-J, and DVD ISO over network.
Also wondering what custmizations people use for their VLC configs. Skins or plugins to use.

I guess it means if you have Blu-Ray or DVD ripped in ISO format you can play it over the network.
I haven't really looked into plugins or skins.

That's too bad, but given the delays that they've had for the last couple, it makes sense.

@stuartjordan So every time i need to login to my work computer i will need to get a text message on my phone first or carry a mobile fingerprint scanner or use the buggy and easily exploited facial recog stuff. That sounds awful.

@stuartjordan soon all that will have to happen to get into a computer system is the lopping off of limbs and putting said limb near a scanner of some sort. . .
