Pot roast is supposed to be a braised beef dish. But I've see it done with beans and mushrooms.

I just don't see how that is pot roast - short of just the word pot meaning vessel you cooked it in, and roast, the cooking style.

Like you, a Pot Roast always means braised beef to me.
If it's beens, then it's roasted beans.. not pot roast.

I'm guessing its either mushroom and other veggies or seitan.
