      This is the kernel update to fix the Spectre/Meltdown.

      edit: Only affects PV installations

          Nope. Mine actually shut off.
          Reverting to snapshot was only fix I had. Some people get booted into kernel panic and can edit grub to use old kernel, but not mine.
          I only did this on two servers, then did some GoogleFu and found this RedHat thread.

            You might have to turn off pti.

              Our DC sent a warning about this. And they said it's not just VMs, could also happen to bare metal.
