Has the ER-4 been released? Is that supposed to be a replacement for the ERL?

ER-4 is slated to be $199 and have significantly better performance than the ERL, claiming 3.4mil pps.

No, as was recently highlighted in another thread, availability on a website means nothing about 'released'.

The product was supposed to be released in mid November and has been removed form the UBNT beta store. But it is not yet available in distribution anywhere except the listing at Double Radius. Double Radius is one of the primary UBNT distribution channels, and may well be the first to get anything.

But have you actually contacted DR to confirm availability? Because no one on the UBNT community can get one yet.

3-4 times the performance for double the cost.

lol - stupid vendors, likely posting they have shit they don't really have.

UBNT does not always have all of their gear on their store.

As noted it was removed from their beta store and was supposed to have a roll out date in mid November, but it is not yet in distribution.

Decided to go with an ERL. Love it so far. Need to figure out how to work with it better.

I'm using Mikrotik gear right now. Not a fan...

I love Ubiquiti's access points. I should go with their routing solutions too...

Mikrotik can be really powerful, but it requires loads of networking knowledge to make the most of them. Also, their documentation is not the best.

Well, they work at the moment. No need to replace them anytime soon.

ERL with an AC Lite AP at home as well as many clients. Zero issues.
