They had a lot of issues with their pine boards when they first came out. I wouldn't trust their laptop as there were majory quality control issues with their boards.

There is 30 day warrantly, usually if the board is defective you will find out right away. And i dont see any other thing like this except chromebooks which is not full OS system.
pi-top project is not important with its 300+ price tag

Interesting... definitely beats the hell out of being restricted with ChromeOS. I'd much rather have a full Linux OS.
