So I've been using the Windows 10 Technical Preview for about 12 hours now (12 hours straight that is), and as most of you are busy working a full time job, I figured I'd set this up so anyone can ask questions, and I'll do some hands on research to answer them. So far, it's working flawlessly, and seems to require less processing power to run. All hardware is running at lower usage levels, and everything is working very seamlessly. It doesn't feel like any sort of Beta or Pre-Release build, it's a full Windows OS with Driver Support and the likes. So, if you have any question at all, let me know, and in a bit I'll post a reply to this thread with a list of the new features.

I've been meaning to spin up a VM of it. Liking it so far?

That's impressive for a Tech Preview.

@ajstringham Liking it a lot, it's more stable than Windows 8.1.

@scottalanmiller I'm highly impressed. It's basically what Windows 8 should have been. It also includes native VM support, that requires very little resources.

@ajstringham It is. I was expecting it to be pretty bad, but I actually can't complain about it at all. Other than the fact that I can't continue to keep it for free forever 😛

Does MS have an expected release date as of yet?

@ajstringham No one knows, but it's been hinted that it'll be around April in 2015.

That'd be a pretty good timeframe. When was 8.1 officially released?

Ok, so if they were to release it in April of next year, that would mean 8.1 had been live for over a year and a half. Not bad.

Really? That's awesome. Of course, NTG has a VL that gives us that anyway, but for individual users that is a sweet deal.

I thought I read on ZDNet or WinITPro that this wasn't going to be the case. I could be mistaken though.

I hope it is cause that would be a great deal.

I'm going to try Windows 10 on the new Lenovo. Ugh with the problems I'm having with this thing. I'd be so upset if I hadn't gotten it free!
