Carlos Slim Predicts the Three Day Work Week

I used to do 5x10... got paid hourly so 10 hours of over time a week was awesome.

i did 4x10 for a while. it wasn't bad. now i really enjoy my 7xwhatever schedule
By 7 whatever you mean 7 x 24

I'd definitely like a 4 x 10 better than a 5 x 8ish. Make it easier to do after hours maintenance.

And having a three day weekend is so much more relaxing. Taking a weekend trip, for example, can be a normal thing instead of a special thing.

Exactly. And if you think about it, shaving off a work day for an extra 2 hours 4 days a week, it makes sense. It's kind of how a lot of schools have gone to block schedules, because a 50 minute class every day is far less effective than 2-3 1.5 hour classes each week.

I can't wait.

Pedagogical studies disagree. 45 minutes is the limit of single topic learning for the average learner. If you have longer classes, you cover more material but learn less of it.
It's more "efficient" to teach less, is basically what they are saying. Of course, doing away with school completely would be the most efficient thing if the goal is to have teachers spend less time doing it.

I'm happy with working more days if I can do it from where I want. And that where is the Alba region.

If only the robots would take over and we could just spend our time doing other things.

In my experience, fewer longer days are better than more, shorter days. You get way more free time in a clump to do things, even if that just means relaxing.
