I've worked in wallless places, you can't do anything.
again, this was DropBox.. there was no private spaces there... from what I could tell they were as close to paperless as one can get.. any paper a person did have, it had to travel anywhere they went.
Conference rooms were scaddered all over the place when you need a semblance of privacy,
We are pretty paperless. Since the team is global, paper is mostly useless.

@fuznutz04 I like keeping it clean and simple. No distractions.
My desk isn't what I had completely envisioned... but it's what I built, so I'm happy other wise.
But with space for two laptops, desktop with three 24inch monitors, an old typewriter, the HF radio, and space to work... is nice.

What I find hilarious is that you're going to know straight off if your CIO is totally BS'ing you or not, just based on your background in IT. Just tell me they're not getting their CIO from SW please.

In some ways I really do, it is going to be crazy. In other ways I'm being given the tools that are needed to do what needs to be done. So I am feeling pretty confident. We will see in a few weeks how things are really going.
