Maybe you could include a "non-traditional storage solutions - thinking outside the box" section. I can think of a particular product to highlight here, maybe with a guest speaker? This might be a topic for a separate webinar, though.

Maybe a webinar series would be in order. A single webinar is probably not going to cut it.

Agreed. @scottalanmiller , that'd be a great thing for you to put out. Video training. You should create a YouTube channel for it!

They have a channel but it's just recordings of their webinars. It's not really video training, just recorded sessions. I'm thinking more along the lines of a (sponsored?) video training library made by the community, for the community.

I'd be willing to contribute. Considering how the videos are playable inside the post on here, a YouTube channel would be awesome!

Why not make it more pluralsight like and create ML own training/video area but free. like training.mangolassi.it or something rather than using youtube mainly. could bring more traffic for @Minion-Queen

@thecreativeone91. That's a very good idea. Sponsored by GroveSocial partnering with NTG.

@scottalanmiller is not allowed to do any 101 classes. Why?

                        1. It's a waste of his time.
                        2. He'll overwhelm us with info and the 101 will become a 301 without him even realizing.

I think we could make this a really good community project!

Excellent idea. Scott likes doing this stuff anyway, and having a site or channel devoted to it makes sense.

It's the video production and editing that is the biggest challenge.

A simple screen recording program with a good microphone is all it takes.

I somewhat agree with AJ on this. If you wait to make any videos until you have the perfect setup, it will never get done.

We don't need complex lighting or sound/video equipment. Just pull up an annotation style program, or do walkthroughs with a screen record. Overlay your speaking from a microphone and you're set. Not hard at all. A lot of screen recording programs I've seen have the ability to record sound from a microphone built in.

$299. There are other programs that do the same thing for free. The great thing about camtasia though is its so damn easy to make a video. I can make a 10 minute video in 20 minutes including the screen record time and the editing.
