I refuse to watch that mislabeled "porno".

IMHO, the very best shows and movies don't need to contain porn and excessive foul language... and it's true, the very best shows actually don't!!!

      1. I could do without a lot of the nudity/sex honestly, but I can ignore that.
      2. What do you consider the "best shows" that don't contain any foul language or nudity?

Crazy, there really isn't much nudity, definitely not "porn". All of it seems true to the show. The show is one of the best of all time. When I think of the other shows mentioned by people that dont like GOT I am baffled.

I will tell you a show that could do without all the nudity is GIRLS on HBO.

Breaking Bad was maybe the best show without nudity. Better Call Saul is good.

I can just imagine a show like BB without "fowl language". Maybe something like Annie would suit?

I meant excessive, I said excessive... some shows literally 7/10 words are. That's excessive.

@tim_g GOT up through season 6 is a masterpiece. Particularly the final 2 episodes of last season. I cant think of anything better on TV than those two episodes.

                What are your top shows?

I hear you but still disagree. Oz had a ton of cursing as did The Wire, depending on who was on the screen.

So if the King of the Dead didn't kill that dragon, what was the plan to get past the Wall?

This entire season was so sloppy. If I weren't so invested I'd stop watching.

It's now a show with books written about it, rather than a show from books. That might be a big factor.

So they have an insane amount of references they can use instead of having to create the entire show from scratch? George R. R. Martin even gave them every major plot point. Wouldn't that make their job that much easier?

As far as writing the screenplays, yeah. But my understanding is that he's still writing the actual show.

I'm pretty sure he is in a supervisory position at best.
