- Can I use LastPass on other mobile devices or desktops if I've signed up for LastPass on my smartphone?
Our new Premium structure model allows you to use LastPass for free on the device where you start and sync your data on other devices for free as long as they are in the same categories (desktops, smartphones, or tablets). For example, if you sign up for LastPass on your smartphone, you could use LastPass on other smartphones for free. If you wish to use LastPass on your desktop or tablet for the convenience and unlimited sync, you will need to upgrade to Premium.

Ok, So i have to ask.. What is the difference (if any) in the free version and the paid version?
Ive been using the free version for about 5 months and it works just fine on both my Phone and my laptop.. -
I've been using EnPass, while not open source, it has a built in webdav sync utility that I use to sync devices through my Nextcloud server.

Ive been using the free version for about 5 months and it works just fine on both my Phone and my laptop..Features that lured me to premium. Feel free to educate me if this has changed:
- Device sync: I have Last Pass across 4 PC, 1 smartphone, and 2 tablets. The data is instantly available across all devices
- Two-factor: TOTP is what I have on my account
- Sharing: I am able to maintain my own LP account but securely share credentials with my wife or others as needed.
- App fill: At least when it was launched, filling in apps and forms on smart devices required premium
I think that is all I need premium for.
-
@donaldlandru The Two-factor: TOTP and Sharing are all that paid offers compared to free today I think. Of course the TOTP is worth the price alone!

I am, the mobile app is really important.

Shared Folder is the big winner in premium. I have a "Bundy" and that is shared with co workers containing account passwords to all the various websites that we have accounts.

I've been using Dashlane for about 2 years now. I was given a one year free membership to Dashlane and LastPass due to asking about it on Spiceworks. Both vendors contacted me and gave me a free year. I found them both to be nice, but decided on Dashlane because it was a bit quicker and easy for me on my mobile device.
-
I use KeePass (Windows) and KeePass2Android and keep the file sync'd on my NextCloud server. It's just me though, so no having to worry about sharing the file with other people.

I would like to use keepass for work, but there are some limiting factors to it that just wouldn't work for us.
For personal it's great.

A pretty decent inability to limit specific users to specific password groups.

Yea,.. if you have multiple people who only need certain or basic level accesses - that would be an issue.
