That bit almost had me jump out of my seat, I was not expecting it.

What about John Snow talking to the men of the north there, and them all bitching about the wildlings and the glass etc. Questioning him, and then his sister.

Man she would've been slapped for that at anyone else's house.

Q: Why does the Lord of Light care about humanity and why does it seem like they are setting up a literal war between fire (the lord of light) and ice (the night king)?

We know the children of the forest created the first white walker to wage a war against humanity, we saw it happen. The fact that the situation spiraled out of control for them shows that they didn't fully understand the implications (or maybe even the process) of what they were doing. We see them plunge a dragon glass dagger into some guys heart and he transforms into the night king essentially. Where does that magic come from? They didn't have the ability to turn anyone into a white walker before, it's almost an experiment if you think about it. We've heard multiple times that the stark bloodline goes back to the first men. What if the guy they turned into the night king was a stark and also a worg/greenseer like bran? What if what the children of the forest didn't know this and it corrupted his power, turning him into the night king?

Q: Is the night king just a pawn of a greater struggle?

The two gods we know are real are the many faced god and the lord of light. I think they are constantly at war with one another and the night king was created unknowingly with the help of the many faced god as his only goal is death. The lord of light is bringing people back from the dead to fight against the night kings army. It's almost a literal war between life and death, although both gods are evil from what we have seen so far.

            Q: What is Bran's role?

We've seen that Bran can influence the past (Hodor). What if he is responsible for the mad king going mad? What if he's Bran the builder and is responsible for the entire wall and the magic that guards it? What if he has guided the entire human history to this one point because if anything else were to happen we would perish?

When you know more about a show than you do about your career. /wrists

Yeah the the children of the forest definitely didn't understand what they were doing as the White Walker army attacked and killed them just like anyone else, turning them into a part of the army as well.

The mad king said burn them all meaning "burn all bodies" because of the whitewalker threat.

I think the Night King is actually a part of the show, not just a pawn. He's representative of death its self. Where as the Many Faced God specifically targets people based on getting paid to do it. Almost an Assassins Creed type of thing. . . The fact that Arya can now change faces at will (but of who she's killed it seems) that the MFG willfully chose to give her the ability.

I think Bran being a Ward is the one being with the ability to see how to stop the Whitewalker army. If you recall Tully killed one with the dragon glass, but it came back later (because he didn't burn the body).

So you stop whitewalkers with dragon glass, then you finish em with fire.

I mean he's not the highest authority if you think of it in those terms. I think he's a pawn of the many faced god.

He can't be a pawn of the MFG, because the MFG only kills via the faceless man when paid to do so.

The house of black and white is a guild of assassins that consider themselves followers of the many faced god. Doesn't mean the many faced god himself expects payment outside of just death itself.

The faceless man is the MFG, it's obvious by the fact that he's the only person there who operated the house of black and white.

Everyone else in the shop is a pawn of his. It's also why why Arya told him to kill himself that he couldn't. He's a god.

No he can't kill himself or else there would only be the Lord of Light. Who is bringing people back to life (but damaged) each time to presumably fight the whitewalkers.

Do you remember the pawn that was wearing the face of the faceless man that died by drinking the water because Arya killed the wrong person?

He can't possibly be able to die and share his face. Since a face can only be used if a person is dead. Otherwise there is some other stuff happening (like him being a god).

Even the Faceless man explains this to Arya.

The mistake you are making here is assuming that we have seen the proper face of the person in charge. Or even that there is a single individual running the show. The face you are referring to is just one of the previous victims of the group that gets shared around.

Wrong, there was an entire conversation about how a face can't be used unless the person was killed. And it can't be used by more than a single person at a time.

And that guy was talking to Arya with the faceless man's face. And then the actual faceless man walked up and pulled the face off of the now dead guy.

He took her request seriously and panicked, asking her to take it back. It means he can kill himself but didnt want to die.

But have we seen it on more that one person at a time?

There was some nameless guy that had to drink the water when Arya killed the wrong person, the faceless god was punishing her. And that guy was talking to Arya with the faceless man's face. And then the actual faceless man walked up and pulled the face off of the now dead guy.

Perhaps then, though I might chalk that up to an error in the show. I would also point out that the group in question is not always the most honest so the statement about only one person being able to use a face may have been misinformation.

I refuse to watch that mislabeled "porno".

IMHO, the very best shows and movies don't need to contain porn and excessive foul language... and it's true, the very best shows actually don't!!!
