Mangocon 17 Travel Countdown

Planes, trains, and automobiles....
Drive to the Marta station, get on a train to the airport. Fly to Rochester. Jump over to the train station to catch the maple leaf express to Toronto for a few days. Ride the train back to Rochester, drop off bags, arrive at the brewery.

By car, leaving tomorrow morning.

Tuesday: Car > MARTA > Hartsfield Airport > Rochester
Saturday: Rochester > Hartsfield Airport > MARTA > Car -
Bus and/or train to airport, plane to Cleveland, train to Rochester.

Flying in on Tuesday, Flying out on Saturday

Driving in on Tuesday, leaving Saturday.

Driving, about 4.5 hours. Boring as all get out.

I've never had a problem with Marta. Less loud than the L in Chicago.

I've never really had problems, but friends from other cities have mentioned the better quality of their rapid transit systems. My biggest issue with them is that the breeze card machines give change in gold Sacajawea dollars.

Ha! I just put rides on my Breeze Card. I just wish we had MARTA to Gwinnett County. We could use a Northeast / Southwest track as well as Northwest / Southeast. Then it would be as convenient as the L.

I'm ready for the Gwinnett line to happen. I have to go all the way up to Doraville for airport trips (no long term parking at the closer stations).
