          That's intuitive.

How does it perform compared to Elasticsearch?

VERY different. One is a log storage system. This is purely a live log viewing system.

Also does it only watch log files? Or does it integrate with journald?

AFAIK it only watches logs. The documentation is atrocious. Like, I can't even find any.

So it's only real time? There's no storage at all?

Oh. Kind of useless with Fedora unless you want to do the leg work of setting up journald to files.

Depends if you are looking at system logs or monitoring files 🙂 I'm just using it to look at some files, so it is perfect.

None. If you close the browser and open it back up, everything is gone.

I mean the files are still on the server, of course. You can still retrieve that data there.

Ah ok. Just by the name I assumed it was a logging platform. Never mind. That makes sense then.

Had a Lenovo server at my last job that was silly slow. I never clocked it but you didn't want to go down in the middle of the day.

Yea,.. we try to not let it go that far... lol.. It's rated in cups of coffee consumed.

I don't even know what took so long with it. It doesn't have as much memory as the other server that was put in there... and the controller has ~the same amount of cache.... the Lenovo badge must be the issue.
