The Linux Agent definitely shows that they are REALLY close to KVM native.

What do you consider KVM native? Is that host based backup?

Can you automate it yet, or doe you still have to use the tui?

Full central automation is in v10. Announcement tomorrow.

They have a session tomorrow where they are going to deep dive into free full automation of the Linux Agent tomorrow.

The Linux Agent is open source. At least much of it.

Just talked about how we could manage the Linux Agent via Ansible or Salt 🙂

I mean, I'd rather use that than ReaR. I just didn't have a way to automate it and I don't want to run a tui on every machine that needs it.

Can you take good notes on that? I've very interested in doing this.

Just like it is with Hyper-V.
This will be available with v10 or at a later date?

Veeam says that hardware RAID is faster than Storage Spaces today. The SS code is just too slow.
