Sometimes we have to hide a thread as people might stumble upon it and cause job or career issues. Someone had a thread and it is hidden until his or her job stabilizes and there is no more concern. If you were wondering where it went, you know what this is about. If you don't, then don't worry about it.

I wish there's a way to post as anonymous. Something along the line of showing the name as alias instead of actual name. Obviously, mods still need to be able to track down the OP so complete anonymous might cause more issue. Just a thought

If someone were to want to do that, they would need to make a new account for that. That way they can still edit and respond. But that's easy to do.

I've been considering this for years as it is a recurring issue. Making a throw away account really does work best.
