      Hi All.

I'm having an issue with Server 2012 R2 / IIS 8.5 and the Remote Desktop Services web page. The issue is that it does not work for Internet Explorer users. Firefox and Chrome folks can log in with no problems. Problem users in Internet Explorer are also able to log in if they use Chrome or Firefox.

I've added the IIS site to the trusted URL's list, lowered security settings to "Medium" (I haven't gone any lower than that yet).

When the user enters their appropriate credentials (DOMAIN\user.name) and the correct password, and attempts to login, the login page just seems like it immediately refreshes instead of taking them to the Remote App view.

Anybody have any ideas of things that I can check regarding this?

Fortunately, it's a development server, and everything works as expected on a different RDWeb server.

Maybe IE doesn't integrate well with IIS. It doesn't integrate well with anything else 😉

ROFL. If it wasn't for the fact that it works fine on our production server, I'd agree with you.

            Check versions.

IE went stupid(er) recently. The last set of cumultative updates has fixed a lot of IE issues that showed up at one of my clients recently.

What page does it land on after they log in? What if they try to go straight to:
              https://rdsserver.yourdomain.com/RDWeb/Pages/en-US/Default.aspx

Are the workstations that are connecting domain joined? What if you're logged on to one of those machines with a local account and then try to hit the page?

IE 11, latest version, or IE 10 (I forget which version. Clients are Server 2012 R2 -- my desktop, and Windows 7). Updates are current.

One work station (my desktop) is NOT domain joined. The other one is.

Even after the login, it sends me back to the login page.

IIS Shows no errors. I see the POST where the login attempt is made, and then it 302 Redirects to Default.aspx and then it 302 redirects back to the login page.
