On an unrelated note, i broke my test system trying to install the LIS 4.1 package. Thanks Microsoft.

Are you having issue installing it from work or home?
 Try installing snipe-it manually.

Try installing snipe-it manually. Both the office environment (esxi) my home lab XS7.1 and even in virtual box. The installation completes, but the site refuses to resolve.

Use the IP address instead of domain name? I've tried against both the FQDN I want to give it internally. Let me confirm on the port settings.

Thanks Microsoft. How did it break your system? It never completes a reboot. The progress bar works across the bottom of the screen and then just sits there for ever. Not bothered to test further. It was almost 2am.

@DustinB3403 said in SnipeIT install - anyone have a working guide?: stupid firewall. . . . Gah SELinux != Firewall
-
@DustinB3403 said in SnipeIT install - anyone have a working guide?: Maybe setenforce is causing my issue . . . Could be, tho I didn't have an issue with selinux. I did initially forget to open the http port in the firewall tho.
-
Yeah the firewall was the issue the entire time, for some reason I don't recall that being an issue last time I set this up. .. Whatever, thank you all for proving it was human error.
