For those using MS Teams, how are you using channels? I was thinking of making a channel for every big project we have going and use the channel to keep track of configuration changes made to servers and other infrastructure items throughout the project. I like Spiceworks and being able to tie devices to a ticket, but we don't have our instance off the ground just yet.

I'd love to hear any feedback and use cases from the Mango community.

Haven't used Teams yet. We're using Outlook Groups and documenting our infrastructure with that. Trying to get the other guys to use it more, but they're not budging.

How big is your team? It's just 2 here (my boss and me).

4 of us here. 2 at my location (my boss and I) and 2 at the other location (both helpdesk techs).

We have Slack, Teams, and Skype for Business from various acquisitions. There's some things I like about Teams, some things I like about Slack. Overall, hate SfB though.

We have different channels for different teams. Devs get their own, SysOps, NetOps service desk (per team), etc.

We also have random channels... memechannel for laughs, and some others. Just one rule... no politics, no religion. Gets way too heated.

We have Sales, Dev, IT Ops, and of course, one for memes.

Rocket.Chat is, so far, the one I love the most. Mattermost looks really good too, but we had to pick one.

We use a channel per team or project. So sales has one, but so does an individual project that might not use an entire team or is built from bits of other teams.
