Me: "Ok, but I looked on the compatibility sheet for that SSD and I don't see Dell R430 listed in the compatible models... are you sure it will work?"
Boss: "Well, the guy at Dell assured me it would work..."
Me: ".....
.... you mean the guy that sold it to you assured you it will work???"I guess I get to try it anyway....

Just finished getting Korora 25 Cinnamon fully installed on Dominica's Yoga 2 Pro. Korora runs on there SO much better than Windows. No network issues, screen scaling is much better. It's pretty nice. I'm really impressed by how well it works.

The five year old had a cough so bad last night that she threw up. So a pediatrician is coming to the house to check her out today. Yes, in Ukraine doctors still make house calls! They did in Italy too, we just never used that.

For some reason our Internet is more or less down, except ML is working. Can't Google anything, can't open SW, can't go to any web page... but ML works just fine. Weird.

Trying to find how to boot a cheap china android tablet into recovery or force a flash of a stock rom (if I can find it).
It's stuck in a boot loop, think it failed to flash a custom recovery image. -
Should be getting drives and RAMs for my Hyper-V host machine today!!! Great virtualization success! I also got the green light to start planning to virtualize nearly everything here, even if only in a 1:1 manner (P2V the system, Hyper-V to bare metal, restore VM, allocate all resources to it). I'm catching up with all of youze guys. I even talked the boss into getting some big SATA drives to put in the DAS for storage and backups (looking at maybe 20TB usable in RAID10).
