MangoCon 2017

Do we have an idea as to what is being presented yet? Starting to plan out training for the year. One that I am wanting to take is looking to take my entire budget for myself as far as training goes, but I'm wanting to make it to MangoCon.

My wife is considering coming, anyone else's non IT spouse coming?
I was originally plannign to bring my wife and kids, but they flight dates make that not a good choice.
My wife and kids return from Japan on July 25 ~4:00pm. Get all the laundry done and then head out at like 6am on the 26th with that jet lag? not a chance in hell. The kids would live in the pool I guess, so if we had a room like I had last year with a door to the pool deck it may work.We have not decided 100% yet on this.

-
The STATE the Art of System Administration 2017

@Minion-Queen Thanks for the info. I know you're hard at work on it. However, I may just have to catch it again on YouTube this year.

Is there something specific that you are in need of? We are still in the planning stages so lots of space to add what you might need.

I'm sad because I may be in Seattle that week, or if I am it might be to close to my other time off Still figuring it out.

What are you doing in Seattle more important than MangoCon?

New nephews take precedence over the best IT conference around. I'm not a complete robot, tho my presentations last year may give that impression, doh.

@Ambarishrh For this small trip, train is the way that I would go, and then rent a car or Uber at your destination (Rochester). If you were doing a real road trip, or want to really get on the road, you can join me next year in August, 2018 (the whole month). I'm going to do about 8-9k miles or so.

I just recommended the train to someone else yesterday, too.

The bus from NYC to Rochester isn't glamorous but works very well.
-
I guess Greyhound has improved a lot over the years. I hear that they have power and WiFi now.
