Factory That Made Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Batteries Catches Fire (Yes, Really)
-
"minor fire" that called out 19 trucks and 110 firemen.
-
OMG, can you get more apropos?
-
Samsung is having a rough year.

It sounds like something straight out of The Onion, but it’s true: A factory in China that manufactured batteries for the now-defunct Samsung Galaxy Note 7 line of phones — all recalled due to their propensity for the batteries to burst into flame — itself suffered a fire this morning. As Bloomberg reports, a fire broke out this morning at a plant for Samsung SDI Co, in Tianjin, China. Samsung SDI was indeed one of the two battery suppliers for the Galaxy Note 7.

Sometimes, you just can't make this stuff up!

Perfect. This makes me happy (since no one got hurt and it was pretty minor.)
-
ROFLOL - wow.. almost fell over on that one... damn..

I had to share. I couldn't believe it when I read it. I'm glad no one was hurt, but you just have to wonder. They didn't see that coming? "Hey boss, What should I do with all these batteries that spontaneously explode?" "uh, put them in a pile over there inside our factory."
