I made the sub boxes for my truck 15 years ago.. it was a pain figuring out the volume considering they couldn't just be normal squarish boxes.

Yes. Even though BB sells them now. B+W go very high but have entry level too. Their too end speakers are $50K a pair!

Yeah, my friend and I were wondering if B&W tanked as a company since they made something they could sell at Best Buy...
Reminds me of Webroot - it was sold for the longest time (maybe still is) as an upsell at BB. I refused to use anything sold there, they mostly only sold/pushed the crap that was crap and had high margins.
It wasn't until I was at a SpiceCorp with Webroot giving a demo that I learned about their journaling feature and gave them a fair shake.. I like them a lot now.

Had my ceiling wired from builder, and threw up a 7.1, working on the .2 to piss off the neighbors. Some nice Polk 3 ways.
I still have to perfect the direction of some of them, but it's pretty freaking loud. -
I got a pair of older Castle Durham speakers from Goodwill... they are amazing. Apparently they sold for something like 700GBP new, picked them up for $80 because the fronts of the cabinets are cosmetically ruined (someone tried to glue, then nail on the screens).
