I snagged both Stellaris and FFIX last night and didn't get a chance to play either. Definitely itching to play.

No kidding. Sitting here wondering what today's recommended deals are. And my SIL stalled yesterday and didn't buy any games. She needs to buy tons today.

I started FF 9 last night. I've been playing the Final Fantasy 14 online since it was $20 bucks to get in. I figured what the heck... It's been fun for me, so I'll probably play it for a while. I can play FF 9 while the kid is awake, so there's that, lol. (You can pause FF9 any time -- including the cut scenes!)

Yup, probably Stellaris. I might try FFIX with my 12 year old and introduce her to both older games and Final Fantasy in one Swell Foop.

I'm going to set up a laptop for my kid to play Super Mario brothers... just need to find him a USB Classic NES controller and I'll be happy.
Edit: Okay, if I'm honest, I'd have to admit it would be for me too.

I built a RetroPie for my brother this Christmas

I built a Raspberry Pi for my brother this Christmas
Already have the laptop for him. Just getting some of the old Kindergarten games my mom has working... Qemu for the Win! (yes, these games are that old and no, they don't work on much anything past Windows 98).

Already have the laptop for him. Just getting some of the old Kindergarten games my mom has working... Qemu for the Win! (yes, these games are that old and no, they don't work on much anything past Windows 98).
I need to figure out how to make these two wireless controllers works with the Raspi and then I'm done. Thousands of games. He will never play all of them. It's great.

So I powered on my Retropie to do a final test today (Christmas present for my brother) and my second Logitech F710 controller isn't registering inputs. There is no conflict, new batteries, everything. It's just a dead controller.
Super bummed about it.

I recently saw on RetroPie built onto a small Fridge - ultimate game center since you don't have to walk away from your game to 'freshen' up
