What kind of games you like to play would be an important factor.
Yeah, for sure. I just saw a guy playing it on the plane yesterday and thought it might be a good thing to have for flights and late-night/random boredom.
My daughter likes it but doesn't use it often. More, cheaper and better games on tablets and phones today.

Also, a lot of the good ones force you to purchase shit to get the complete experience or be competitive, etc. I understand that's the name of the game in terms of DLC nowadays on consoles, but I also get a complete game upon purchase with consoles.

Pretty much this. I have a moga that lets me play emulators and other games on my phone. I also have a new 3ds but don't play it very often unless I'm on a plane. The battery life is fantastic for that use case.

Buddy of mine invited me to play Final Fantasy XIV (14) Online... This will be the first Final Fantasy MMO I've played... It feels like WoW...but with a different story.
So far, so good!

FF15 is soon to be released, IDK if I want to purchase a PS4 just to play it.... maybe for the FF7 remake when it is released (next december)

I plan on waiting for the PC version of 15, and depending on Finances, I may nab the FF7 and FF 9 PC versions from Steam eventually.

Those were really some great DnD games. NWN and NWN2 were excellent to play co-op as well.
