Yeah, it was crazy being out there in the deluge. Some of the heaviest rain I've ever had. I was blind from the amount of water in my eyes. WIth the six inches of water on the ground it was a bit like swimming!

Chilling, trying to finish out the work day without issue, and then go home with my girl.

So busy, being in Austin all week really gets you behind the eight ball.

Getting my booze and snacks ready for an "apocalypse" party tomorrow night.

Doing the second "clearing out of the water" in the atrium. Roommate is here doing it this time. She looks like Mary Poppins out there.

Flood warnings just went off. Oh boy, we've NOT been under flood warning until NOW? Seriously? This is going to get bad.

Getting the kids' room ready to set up a bed in there.

Setting my office up in a temporary space I have partitioned off in the garage.
I call it temporary, as we are not allowed to partially finish a garage here, so nothing is permanent.
Creative reuse of the material I had to demo to open up the kitchen.
