- I have tried most features out and the samba shares are nice and easy to get configured. Because all of these packages do that. Their point is to be an SBS clone

Let me rephrase... that they make their own rather than packaging what is out there, open and mature.

Yes, I've had it in production and even as a hosted email provider. Excellent product.

Open source. And I'm sure that it does but we've always used Red Hat / CentOS.
