      Hey all,

I've been asked to find a eFax service, a few things to assume we need.

      • Number Porting options - We have multiple numbers
      • Private Fax numbers - HR type
      • Low volume (I don't know our usage but it can't be more than 20 pages a month)

I looked at RingCentral, and they seem really reasonable, anyone used them?

RC seems reasonable for this kind of thing in general. What kind of price is coming up?

eFax.com also. I've used them for incoming faxes for years. I'm still on the free plan. I generally don't need to send faxes though.

Yeah we really only ever use our faxes for receiving, I think rarely we will send a fax for gov't contracts etc.

Not sure why the gov't still mandates that fax be an option.... . . (another topic on that)

Vitelity has a vFAX service http://www.vitelity.com/services_vfax/
They also have an option to use an "old school" fax machine if you so desire

Currently using RC for both voice and fax. No real issues with their incoming faxes. Have one odd issue on some outbound email to fax gateway where the bulk of the pages are blank. Haven't researched it much, but seems to be related to the darkness of the text.

It looks like we'll be going with RC.

Ties in with Outlook, and simple / cheap.
