Finally Recovering from 2 days of "holy crap why are there so many freaking tickets" today.
Has been crazy around here... and meetings, meetings, upon meetings.... Ugh. I am trying to stay out of management so I can avoid spending all my time in meetings... the last few days have been riddikulus [sp intentional].

This is what it did look like (these were the Zillow listing pictures)..
see the wall by the dining table? gone...
nasty carpet? gone.

Yup. Things are all temporary in the kitchen.
Contractor comes out in a half hour to bust open the concrete floor for the plumber to come tomorrow to run new gas line to future island.

That was the origin of my question. Looked like a weird place for a gas line!
The floor does look awesome, though. We have almost all the carpet out of our house. Can't wait for it all to be gone.

I had that same table and chairs set. No longer have the chairs, still have the table. I use the table in my office as extra workspace when needed. -
Here are the temporarily placed island cabinets so I could determine exact gas line placement.
