World Wide Web Turns 25 Today

Hard to believe that HTTP is 25 years old now. It wasn't graphical in those first years and almost no one had a way to use it. But today is a quarter century of the web.

What a day that would have been. Is anyone here that could share their experiences of that day?

August 23, 1991. Well, it would have been the summer when I was about to start school as a high school sophomore with @art_of_shred. We were fifteen. Don't have any special memories of that day off of the top of my head. Tim Berners-Lee definitely did not send me a new fangled email that morning to alert me to his new product going live, so it took a few years before I found out about it.
It was around this time that I remember a Time magazine in our bathroom magazine rack with "The Information Superhighway" on the cover, though.
