NTG Lab is moving!

Sounds fun.
-
@Minion-Queen So, the DC stuff is headed for California, but you are not? Already have someone at NTG that lives out that way?
-
@Minion-Queen A few questions:
- Why did you choose this co-lo facility (since there are a bunch of them in downtown LA)
- How much gear & how much space are you renting
- Rent per month
-

Nope we aren't moving but the equipment is. Colocation America is a fully staffed Data Center. So no need to be anywhere near the hardware!

Colocation America actually reached out to us at NTG and is actually getting a full year for free from them. Cause they are AWESOME!
Scott can answer questions about the gear. -
Maybe @ChrisL can chime in?

NTG Lab is moving, not NTG.

Chris is on the West Coast so he will chime in today I am sure.

A little further South West, over a speed bump and you could host it here.
(as in country, not town) -
I'm not sure how "epic road trip from Salisbury, NC to Western NY." is on Route 66, but if you are road tripping to LA, I live on Route 66. This post is redeemable for 1 free Beer for each of you at Instant Karma if you stop in Joplin, Mo.

Opps Fixed.... We are firming up our route now. We will only be hitting Route 66 here and there on our trip, I think. We will be taking Interstate 40 from Salisbury most of the way across the country.

Ahh, 40 south of me. We are on 44 which connects Chicago and St. Louis to Oklahoma City. Well, if you want to take a 3-6 hour scenic route for a free beer, hit me up.

See what I can do

Interstate 44 starts in St. Louis and goes southwest. It does not go to Chicago.

Good luck!

Well, I'll be it does turn into Interstate 55. I have only driven to Chicago once, and it was unpleasant. At the time the speed limit was still 55, and I have tried to black it out from memory.

I was born and raised in Southern Illinois just 30 miles from St. Louis and I now live in the Chicago suburbs. On top of that I drive down every other week for client work. I can almost drive I-55 in my sleep now.

@Minion-Queen would be cheaper to ship them?

Our lab is officially moving to a Colocation America Data Center in Los Angeles California. @art_of_shred and I will be leaving the Western NY office on Sunday May 15th and working in North Carolina Monday-Tuesday then heading out on an epic road trip from Salisbury, NC to Los Angeles, CA. Keep an eye out for pics all along Route 66.
And you didn't invite me to go with you?!
