Wordpress multisite migration issue: Solved
-
 Hi all I had a task to migrate wordpress multisite and i initially tried the basic mysqldump+file copy to new server and restore, but didn't work. The site is not very well done, and the dev is no longer with this! Next i used backupbuddy tool to try the migration, got the en language working fine but the second language arabic is giving me a 404 error. From backupbuddy logs: Error #9029b: Warning only! Table eoe_2_cf7dbplugin_submits does not contain a primary key; BackupBuddy cannot safely modify the contents of this table. Skipping migration of this table. (bruteforce_table()). Error #9029b: Warning only! Table eoe_cf7dbplugin_submits does not contain a primary key; BackupBuddy cannot safely modify the contents of this table. Skipping migration of this table. (bruteforce_table()). Error #9029b: Warning only! Table eoe_pluginSL_shorturl does not contain a primary key; BackupBuddy cannot safely modify the contents of this table. Skipping migration of this table. (bruteforce_table()).And backup buddy support says:
 These tables are apparently not set up properly. All tables should have a PRIMARY key and/or a UNIQUE key. Mysql automatically returns the first fully unique key if available if a primary key does not exist. If a plugin created the reported table contact the author to have this corrected.Since its a plugin, backupbuddy support team won't be doing much! Anyone know how to fix this?

 @Ambarishrh Try Updraft
-
 @aaronstuder Thanks! Just read that on another post, let me try that.

 Thanks @aaronstuder updraft also gave me the same error, but then i figured out! It was due to not enabling mod_rewrite on apache. Enabled it and restarted apache, and all started working fine!

 I mentioned it in another thread, but you guys should give managewp.com a look, and see what you think compared to Updraft. I use ManageWP and would be interested to hear your take on the two.

 This looks like per site pricing, backupbuddy or Updraft especially has unlimited site option Does it? I looked at the pricing for Updraft and it said it was a site licence, with options available for unlimited.
