John Oliver is consistently excellent. I'm one of the few people that know him from England's "New of the Week" instead of from the US' "Community." Both great shows, but "NofW" was an amazing political satire show and extremely witty.

No need to duck for that...we know its partly true...Just not QUITE on the same level as the US "news" channels that seem to be owned by whoever has the most money, and only report what they are told to...

I have no idea how close it is compared to US news... but yeah - the news is a total joke now - completely owned by ratings and money - not reporting truth and or accuracy.

I stopped watching new over a decade ago. One of the best decisions I've ever made... the "news" is 1000% bullshit anyway.
