      So one of our little 2 bay NAS units is configured to use the above global NTP server and was off by more than 5 minutes.

      Not a huge deal but I was curious if anyone else is using this same NTP server and noticed any issues with the system clocks using it.

      Because of the time difference the share that this drive is running was disconnected from the network.

        What does Synology report about its own skew?

          Not certain where to check it specifically, I'm on the self hosted webpage, ssh access isn't even enabled.

          I'm sure I could enable it to check though.

              Yes, fora lot of things you need SSH enabled.

                Command should be ntpd -p

                  @scottalanmiller Must be run as root.

                  Which I don't have the root credentials. Just the user credentials.

                              It happens, NTP is pretty unstable.
