Looks as though there is a mismatch of character sets. The big question would be... does this occur only for you and other people get his emails and it is fine? Or do lots of people receiving his emails have this problem?

Also, what is he using to write the emails? Is it Outlook? OWA? Something else?

        for example : X send email to A and B and C ....
only A have this issue, other people receive the email in clear text
A has 2 way of reading emails : outlook 2007 and webmail, he have issue only when he open email in outlook, as for webmail the email is OK

the big issue here is that this problem doesn't happen all the time but sometimes, maybe 1 time in a week

Check Internet Explorer Version, try to update to the last one.

Wow is right, that system is years old!

I'd do a virus scan on it while you're there, that thing has probably been vulnerable for years!

Obviously updates are needed here first, but if the issue persists, it can very likely be due to the original item being sent in a very specific encoding.

I run into this often with file names when people in Japan send a document.

The only solution I have it so retype the name or change my system base language.

Here is how I have my desktop setup for example.
