I've tried them, nothing is wrong with them.

It's just a very rigid build for a single purpose. In the cases of a business that is starting out (and unfamiliar with linux) it would be a decent starting place.

Build a few VM's on Xen and be up and running in as little time as it takes to complete the installation.

I use their LAMP stack when I need a test server. Works great.

I've never used it, but I am sure that it is fine. In the long run, I suspect that it takes more work because you get up and running with zero effort but need to know how to upgrade, maintain and modify it after the fact, which is tougher when you don't know how it got to be where it is currently. Awesome for demoing stuff, though.

I've only ever used their stuff to test. If I wanted to try something, but didn't feel like putting the effort into actually installing everything, I just download an image and run it.

I'm pretty sure they come default with webmin and some other junk also.
