The Mango flavored Link

I sure hope not. Linked In is pretty bad.
-
Have you tried participating in their groups? The questions and responses are only marginally more intelligent than Facebook.

I've certainly not heard it said in those terms. As I am not really a LinkedIn user in not sure what you mean. What aspect of LinkedIn are you wondering about? I only think if it as a spam service for fake recruiters.

That is because that is all it is.

It's also a breeding ground for a lot of really bad derp discussions between people that really don't know what they are talking about, let alone what their actual jobs entail.

Not at all, I've been getting an increase in emails from these fakes too with HOT JOB LEADS.......
To recruiter:
FFS, You know and I know You are lying and need to generate paper. Give it up and be truthful, you know, like a real human being should be. -
I automatically ignore any request through LinkedIn is either fake or the company is crap. Both LinkedIn and Amazon have tried to get me through there.

Oh. I don't think of LinkedIn having that. I joined LinkedIn before there was any association like that.

This is all I use it for as well. With every job I've gotten, the hiring manager and/or HR made a comment about having a nice LinkedIn page. I've only gotten 2 or 3 fake recruiters from it and a few referrals for new job openings. The rest of the site seems to be marketing crap.
