@BRRABill: That's what they say but we have had lots of times where it doesn't work much more often than getting it to work

And regular skype doesn't have the weird issues with Lync/Skype for Business phone clients.

I remember we had a MS hosted online meeting once, and it was a real bear to get it to work. So I hear you.

The WebEx is pretty cheap for what we need. Perhaps that is just the way to go.

Zoom.us is what we use here. Seems to work pretty well not sure on the cost though.

Zoho also has a free one.

I've been looking for one too... You gotta watch out though... Some of the free ones hide session limits in the fine print. (I think Zoom US limits meetings to 15 minutes).

If you are just doing a presentation, I like http://meet.jit.si

You can create your own URL and screen sharing is dead simple. However, I should mention: You get ZERO remote control capabilities.

Mikogo is another alternative (http://mikogo.com) that is free. Join.me isn't terrible for me. I've used it several times and it's been ok.

If you're just doing a slideshow presentation, Zoho also has a free broadcast option. You can share the presentation and then connected people can chat on the side.

My issue with join.me is not the presentation aspect; it's the remote control that completely blows.

My issue with join.me is that they are owned by LMI 😉

We use gotomeeting here. Saw https://www.fuze.com/plans and never knew that 3CX has one http://www.3cx.com/web-conferencing/
