So I've been working to use OneDrive for my files.

I actually was pretty excited about it at 6:30 tonight. I had been working on a file all day. Very important 5th grade girls basketball roster. 🙂

I needed to make some changes to it, so instead of booting up my PC, I logged into OneDrive.com on my Mac, opened the Excel file, edited it, and printed it. Pretty cool. I also edited a Word file the same way.

Well after practice I came home, and opened my PC, and it said there were sync problems. I Googled this error, and it seems the answer was to uncheck the “Use Office to sync files faster and work on files with other people at the same time.” option. I did this, and they synced. The changes were indeed there.

Any thoughts on what this is? is it because I have an older version (Office 2007), perhaps?

I don't know but I would agree that your guess is a logical and likely one.

I've seen this at least twice with Office 2013. Not sure what's causing it yet.

Still need compatible apps from this decade 🙂

Office 2013 (from @nadnerB's post) isn't from this decade?

                😉

I thought that you said that you were using Office 2007.

When using what storage system? OneDrive? ODfB? SharePoint?

I am. But @nadnerB said he saw it in Office 2013.

With Office 2013, I have had issues with the Microsoft Office Upload Center and ODfB.

I changed it to these settings and have never had a problem since.

Note: I am not a heavy Office document user.

I did just recently install ODfB. i wonder if it had something to do with this.

Standard OneDrive baked into Windows 8.1 & 10

I theorise that the issue is a "No, it's my job. You can get stuffed" issue between the OneDrive and Office uploaders.

                                That sounds likely to me.

Yeah I think the "Office Uploader" got installed when I installed ODfB.

Which, as everybody here seems to know, seems to have some issues, generally.
