Belgium increases border security
The Belgian authorities have told AFP news agency that they have boosted checks on their borders, especially with France, following the attacks in Paris.
"Reinforced border checks have been established on the borders within the framework especially of a close collaboration with the French authorities," Belgium's national centre for threat evaluation, OCAM, said.

Seven dead as French TGV high-speed train derails in east

A high-speed TGV train has derailed near the eastern French city of Strasbourg, killing at least seven people, officials say.
The crash happened during a test run in the town of Eckwersheim, on a new Paris-Strasbourg line.
Reports say technicians were on board the train and seven people were injured. -

If I'm not mistaken the states don't have the legal right to do this. This is a federal matter.

@coliver that is correct, the states are threatening to violate the sovereignty of the nation. The free movement of people around the nation with border control at the borders is a pretty fundamental federal governance. These states have declared that they have the right to decide anyone who can move through or settle in their territory. This means that they might declare you or I not allowed to go to those states simply because they no longer feel that US citizenship is enough.
