Solved Fixing My Resume
-
I really think that you can get down to one. It will be tight, but I think that you can.
-
Also, getting down to one page will also make it very easy for you to justify why some things that you wish to busy are missing.

That's actually a pretty clever way to handle it...
-
Yup, it makes gaps seem more logical too.

That's an incredibly simple but clever solution.

Getting it trimmed down to just one page can be difficult, but do able.
I think a concise 2 page resume is fine. Keep within 10 years when possible, limit extremely short term employments. I don't use an employment that lasted 3 months.. for me it wasn't practical.
Periods of time of 'unaccountability' can be used as personal development.

You have to look at his specifically. I put it into Word and two pages is too long. A good rule is figure out how long it is and truncate to an integer.
e.g. 2.4 pages means 2

Resume is just about down to one page...but I need help trimming the rest down. Here is the link:
https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=76051035DEC258F!13055&authkey=!AOt7cUm9m3nMZ_k&ithint=file%2CdocxI have removed the address for my own privacy but let me know what I can do to get this down to one page. I've removed quite a bit as well.
-
Document has been updated again. FYI
-
My view shows a job segment breaking across a page... it needs to start on a new page. Also, to much white space... fill it out ore need to remove more. (sorry)
BTW - As part of my job responsibilities a few years ago, I worked with people daily who needed assistance with their resumes. I worked with a number of professional staffing agencies. This was something I did with about 200 people a year for seven years.

Not a bad idea...

And in his case, due to the type of content that he has, it needs to be a single page.

I increased the font and now it's filling almost two pages...I don't know if I can do a single page but I can try...The NTG stuff...how can I trim that down?

Size 12 across the board.

That font is too big looking at it and the margins too small. No white space for the eye. Stick to standard good design principles when possible.
Take it down to 11 if necessary. And look at Cambria.
-
Made some of the changes @scottalanmiller suggested. Keep the ideas coming!
-
Looks way better already. Now to just trim enough to get it to fit.
-
I selected to edit and it seems ot be working. Can you see the change to the top that I just made? A tiny bit of careful editing and removing one incorrect word that you had dropped in there and we trimmed a whole line!
-
Changed "international" to "global" and trimmed another whole line.
