Physical Activities?

5-a-side football (soccer) for an hour a week. I also walk to work, which is about a mile and half.
I'm thinking of starting yoga. Partly as a way to relax and partly because, since I hit my forties, my body seems to have started falling apart, and I want to try and slow down the inevitable aging processes a little bit. I'm going to use Youtube rather than join a class. I just need the motivation to actually start.
I don't mind running. I find exercising in the winter much harder than the summer though. It's too dark and cold to be enjoyable.
31 is a great age as you're still a few years off your potential peak physical condition. Once you hit 40 it's all downhill until death.

I have a very nice dual use bike (trail/road)... I haven't ridden it in a few years. I enjoyed it but couldn't ever find time to just go for a ride.

Yeah, exactly. That comment makes me feel even older than I already do!
Anyway, I mountain bike at least once a day, play tennis in summer and squash in winter. I walk the dog too but, as he's getting quite long in the tooth now, the walks are becoming shorter and shorter.

I don't think 31 is that old.

@Joy It's a strange thing to have your world turned upside down by time. I think this song kind of captures it nicely.

Depending on where you live shapes what activities you have available. I live in Southern California so it's usually outdoor weather all the time (tiny bit of rain here and there).
I coach and play indoor volleyball so weather is hardly an issue. I moved to a place where a lot of restaurants and markets are within walking/biking distance. The beach is a 5 mile bike ride away too. Yoga and special dance classes are another thing on my list just to keep me moving and active. Your body has to stay busy! -
