Is the CDW 3 year total warranty worth the money?

Only insure things you can't afford to replace. The only exception is if you get better/faster service with the CDW warranty.

I agree with @Nic warranties are rarely in your interest. Overall, you lose on them, on average. Any single one might pay off, but in the long run you lose.
Warranties are where the big profits are for a reason.

Well, I purchase the 2 year extended warranty (3 total) on the refurbished computers i purchase from TD. For some reason it's easier to sell warranties than it is to sell "extra" hardware to my clients.

Oh sure. Selling warranties is easy. That's part of what makes them so popular.

We do used equipment leasing. It is basically a form if warranty.

Warranties in the UK are entertaining. Regardless of what the manufacturer says, all electronic equipment has a 2 year warranty.
Then we have the Sale of Goods Act. So that's 6 years or so

@IRJ Nope. Apple have been screwed for this many times. It's EU Law.

It has to affect the prices. The price set for things in the EU would be priced with that as a known factor.

That is partially why things in the EU cost so much more than in the US.

We've used the healthcare in France. Best I've ever seen. No amount of money in America can buy you healthcare like you get in a little, rural village in France.

Walk straight in, good, quality diagnosis from the WHO's top rated health system. Nearly instant health care and nearly instant pharmaceutical availability. All for free. It's amazing. The degree to which the US has bad health care is so extreme that if you've not used other countries' programs it is really hard to understand how good healthcare can be.

This, so hard, this. I HAVE made use of healthcare in Japan for my daughter. I admit, that we get off cheap when the family goes back because I do not exist in Japan's systems in any form. So my wife has to pay a very minimal monthly tax to the city office to get all benefits of a normal resident.
Regardless of the monthly tax owed, the fee for children's services are almost 100% reimbursed. The rest of their system is basically a nation wide 70/30 plan. Residents (who are current on their taxes) pay 30% for most services.
