It really is. And the more the presidential race is on, the more that becomes true.

We are actually more "abroad" than in Europe. We took some time over the summer to spend in Panamá and are heading to Nicaragua in six days. Then Christmas in the States and then from there right down to South America for a while. Then back to Europe.

One of my dreams is to have a work anywhere job and travel the world. I haven't managed it though, and can't really imagine me ever achieving it now. I mean technically I could do it now as I NEVER leave my desk (except to go to the toilet), but my current employer won't go for it.

When our house sold back in April, I had this conversation with my wife and my boss. While our company is not yet in a position to let em just be anywhere all the time (nor are my finances), we were able to relocate to a place we preferred over our old location.
