The only thing I know about fantasy football is from the show The League... which while centered around a fantasy football league doesn't really go into depth on how it actually works.

I tried that one too. Same they just say "let me transfer you to someone who can help with that." then you get tossed to the main menu of the 1-800 number.

The only option besides waiting til next Friday for them to attempt delivery after Saturday (as they've still try to deliver Saturday even though I told them it's not possible.) was to have it held at a fedex location, 50 miles away. The ones in Dublin and Christiansburg the rep said wasn't currently available as an option (it usually is just isn't right now for some reason.) I'm really starting to think Amazon needs to open a Shipping company with awesome customer service.. All shipping companies seem to suck now.

Of the two, I feel like FF works better for the NodeBB sites, at least for ML.

Good enough lawyer should be able to get it dismissed.

when his daughters told him a drone was flying over the neighborhood.

This here is enough in some cases to have the charges thrown. As @JaredBusch stated,.. shotguns only have an effect range of so far... They could have been using the drone to scope out victims.

I think he was well within his right,.. but then again - I've been thinking of getting my own sail plane.

    It'll be a tough case.

We use Sophos I love it...

I'm stuck with it on my Mac. And that means no AV at all since it doesn't run. No one appears to have AV working because they have a Sophos contract and it just doesn't run. For half the people I've seen, it just doesn't fire up. For the other half, it crashes out.

Our's runs fine I'm not sure what your IT is doing wrong. We some mac too and it works okay on them. you have to manually configure them to tie into the Enterprise Console and Internal Update Servers. On Domain PCs this is all automated.

are you talking windows end users or mac end users?

    We have both.

It's becoming increasingly popular for companies to record meetings and stuff and to have speech to text done more or less automatically so meeting transcripts are universally available in an easily searchable way

Interesting, that's the first time I've ever heard someone suggest that.

and it's one thing for a meeting, another out in public.

I know, I know... we are probably be recorded already through our cell phones by the NSA - but at least that information hasn't leaked out to the general public.

Yes. Soon, Google will be selling your private conversations to marketers, so that they can bombard you with ads for products that may have something to do with what you were talking about. Oh, wait... don't they already do that? 😛

While I'm sure they'll never actually sell our conversations (that'll be the NSA) they definitely will analyze our conversations for advertising.

    Nuked by humans....Nuked by Skynet.

    Is there an alternative?

Human engineered super virus that is accidentally released? eg. Captain Trips.

Thanks a type of nuking. I figured when @Breffni-Potter said Nuked by humans...Nuked by Skynet, on the humans side he meant more self annihilation, not necessarily nuking, i.e. nuking, super virus, create a black hole that destroys the planet, etc.

Sure, of course! But sometimes more money is not what you need to give to employees to motivate them to do better, or care more about your company (at least not directly).

That's correct, studies show that there is a huge gain in motivation until you hit the "right" amount. After that additional money does little (other than retention) but other factors matter far more. But if you are making way less than other people, you are below that "right" amount in nearly all cases.

True, but I prefaced the remarks about motivation by saying that one was already making the 'right' amount of money.

Yeah.... no comments on that at all.. I pretty much whole heartedly agree. Life is too short to waste it on petty things that ultimately don't matter.

The day you quit learning about yourself is the day you truly start dying.
